丰粳1606是以淮稻5号为母本、华粳3号为父本杂交选育而成的新型弹性软米新品种,全生育期151 d左右,属迟熟中粳品种,株高90 cm左右,分蘖力强,株型较紧凑,成熟转色好,抗倒性强。通过培育壮秧、机械化插秧、病虫绿色防控以及科学肥水运筹等高产栽培技术的实施,可获得优质高产。

Fenggeng 1606 is a new type of springy soft rice variety, which was bred by the hybridization with the rice variety Huaidao No.5 as the maternal parent and Huageng No.3 as the paternal parent.The full growth period of Fenggeng 1606 is about 151 days. It is a late-maturing medium geng variety with plant height around 90 cm. It has strong tillering ability, compact plant type, yellowing well at maturity stage, and strong lodging resistance. The breeding and popularization of this variety will promote sustainable and stable development of rice production in China, and it is of great significance to achieve stable food supply and ensure food security.
